Ariane Brito Analysis Blog Podcast - 1st of January 2024 - Automatic Audio Notes-

Welcome to our first podcast of the year.

Why have I chosen Guyana? Guyana has a visa deal with Ghana, and what comes out comes in and I wanted to explore how armaments can reach Nigeria and other points of West Africa legally and I found out that Guyana is a very good place for that.

Initially, I thought South Africa would be more appropriate to start my research  because of the historical racist Portuguese Groups ( Mozambique ex Colonial soldiers running Mercenary Groups associated with Renamo Armed group and Renamo ideological political groups) and historical Nazi Dutch groups who facilitated previous armament trade into conflicts, but truly looking at Western Africa geography would be Ghana.

Surprise, surprise, indeed Ghana, is the only African country that has ‘Free Entry No visa requirement up to 90 days’ with Guyana. And vice versa, Guyanese can get in  Ghana as normal visitors or as traders.

Guyana has several Guns and Armaments dealers and traders who can get in Ghana .

Guyana : AGM Security provides guns, weapons. Crown Army Supplies, Mohair, Elite Services.

Why not look at the illegal ways and why use legal Ghana arms traders? Because some that are established in Guyana are established in Ghana. Some of these use a different trade name and others keep the same name.Example AGM Security.

* Twelve Squares is dealing and trading but supplies other services, like security.

*The Versatile GB Ltd .

*The Tactical Intelligence Security Ltd, is trading weapons and armaments and is a security broker.

*The Crown Mining that trades guns and weapons is in Ghana. I remind you that It  originates from Guyana , yet  still provides mining services in Ghana.

*The Prize Worthy Enterprise is listed in Ghana with 21 employees.

*The Concept House is listed as Weapons and Guns dealers and traders but provides other services like security.

*The Mohair Contracting that is listed in Guyana operates in Ghana as well, as so does the Elite Protection Services that operate in both countries.

So these are key players that we do not take into consideration when making a wider analysis of how weapons and guns get in and out of  Africa.

NATO has a very poor prediction for Africa in the future and we will be looking at how much money they are budgeting for the purpose.

Let’s read NATO documents and provide analysis.
