Are Ukrainians the same old Cannibals?

Today the Daily Mail portrayed Ukrainians as violent tugs looting and rioting, but are they the same cannibals like they were during the 1932-33 famine , where forced by Soviet Union oppression which enforced Ukrainians international isolation, they resorted to eating their children and each other?

I believe that this time Ukrainians will not bow to Russia like they did in 1933 to Soviet Union.
